Consider in advance what is important to you. Performance features include things such as: engine size, horse power, transmission and whether the car has front wheel drive,etc. Convenience features include things such as: power windows and locks, cruise control, stereo system, sun roof, etc. Knowing which features are "must haves" for you will help you in your selection/negotiation process.
